Fender AM STD Strat - Tonys Guitars

Fender Stratocaster American Standard 2009

Tony Mckenzie has a great collection of many leading brands of electric guitars including Gibson, Fender, PRS, Ibanez and others. Check them out from the 'Tony's Guitars' section of this website. While the images are not huge, the quality is - so you get a real idea of just what this guitar is like in real life. Many are reviewed on the reviews pages so don't forget to check those reviews out. Also don't forget to visit the IMAGE GALLERY with a section showing Tony McKenzie's guitars in hi resolution images. Many of the guitars are quite rare now.

An off the shelf guitar bought in 2009. This is an Olympic white Fender with all the latest stuff as of that time. But as you might have guessed from the images, Tony Mckenzie did a little work to get this Strat the way that Fender should have and that work is reflected in the look, but most of all the sound. If you buy one of those 'Road Worn' Strats then frankly you are doing yourself a bit of a disservice - an inferior guitar and crap sound, this IS different.

  • Fender American Standard 2009 Olympic White - Just Like Jimi's
  • Made in 2009 to be played
  • Light guitar with great sounds
  • Fender thin neck
  • Fender Pickups - much improved over the old last ones
  • Scratch Plate Custom Aged by the Man from the Isle of Wight UK - Awesome Job
  • Although New/Old design parts (Fender do you know what you are doing?) This guitar is one of the best Strat sounds on the planet
  • Many original design parts but they made the tremolo 2 point
  • Custom Shrouding by Tony Mckenzie reduces hum by over 90%
  • Review online now...
  • Case: Fender Custom Case made from ABS - an excellent case
