Tony purchased this guitar from the
factory in England when he visited them in 1995 ( it was then based in Coventry England ),
and chose this instrument personally. This guitar was one of two that
the Patrick Eggle
Factory had at the time and this one sounded fuller when played. Many thanks to Pete ( who
now works at MX in Birmingham England ) who helped Tony while making the purchase - Pete
took the time to help .......
The guitar has Seymour Duncan
"Seth Lover" pickups fitted from the factory and these sound fine for the style
of music that the instrument was purchased for - this guitar is not particularly suited to
heavy rock but to a more bluesy melodic style. The cost was equivalent to $US2500.00 so this was
not a low cost guitar. This guitar has been featured on tracks that Tony has released when
he was with "Big Dan" and if you listen to "Phoenix" from the Rainy
Days Album then you will appreciate the laid back sound of this guitar. This
instrument did not make the "Guitar Lab" album because the sound is
really more suited to ballad's.
Here's the Picture ....
